Project: Get a Clue

Our "Get-a-Clue" program teaches high school students and college students how to manage their money. Using information from HSBC’s www.yourmoneycounts.com, presenters go through a 45-minute Powerpoint presentation that educates students about credit cards, loans, credit scores, bankruptcy, and fraud and identity theft. Since the financial crisis has caused credit to tighten, understanding the basics of financial literacy will help students to put the right foot forward as they become financially independent.
